Karen Kane & Fifteen Twenty
Designing at Karen Kane means working on styles in each and every category and working on both Karen Kane and the smaller, higher end Fifteen Twenty. Developing sweaters, blouses, knit tops, dresses, skirts, pants, and outerwear at KK has given me an extremely wide scope of design experience and knowledge.
Each of the fours seasons designed each year consist of three deliveries with separate color stories and concepts.
Designs & Development Process
Images shown here are from Spring 2025, which is the first season I worked on at KK. I conceptualized, proposed, and developed all of these styles. My responsibilities included building thorough tech packs, grading, spec’ing, fitting, and corresponding with vendors regarding color, fabric, trim, and fit comments.
Photos shown include marketing and ecom images from location and studio photoshoots. I helped at these photoshoots by styling and assisting models. It is another part of the designer job responsibilities at Karen Kane and an interesting part of the process to be involved in.
